Cityville on facebook EXPANSION going crazy?????

Im at level 55 and my population limit is 9720 and have been collecting the building permits to expand and when I went to get an expansion its asks me for 500.000 coins and requires a population of 14440...how am i suppose to do this??????? My friend is at level 59 with a city population of 4150 (limit 12020) and she only gets asked for 120.000 coins plus 20 permits. What the hell?????!!!!

Many users are facing the similar kind of problem that you have mentioned. It seems that the cost of an expansion in CityVille now scales with the number of expansions you own. My next expansion will cost 42,000 coins . Expansions open up the balance of the game. Space = earning power. I put in a ton of money for coins and got expanded before I knew how expensive everything was and how small it fit.
