Fifa 11 PC game not running

Hi mates
I have bought a new PC DVD of FIFA 2011 and whenever i click on the play button it shows E0001 error.
I guess its an error with the graphic card.
I am having nVidia Geforce 9600 GT graphic card and i have downloaded the driver from nvidia official website for this graphic card.
But still it is showing the same error. The shader model of my card is 4.0 . I am using windows XP-SP2 32 bit.
Pls suggest me what i shud do now.

The error which you are getting is always appears when the Graphic Card is not compatible with the Game (As suggested by EA). But as per your issue let me tell you to download and install the latest driver for the graphic card and also try to re-install the Fifa 11 on your PC once again. So try this out and do let me know whether this is working for your issue or not. This error is always coming when Shader Model is not supported by game.
