How to do port in a right way for Dead Rising 2

I just want to know the proper way to port the Dead Rising 2 games. Because, I actually don’t know how to do this and even I as well don’t know why to do this? One of my friends gave me the Dead Rising 2 games and told to play this because it’s really the amazing game. So therefore I just install it my PC but I am not familiar with how to do port in a right way for Dead Rising 2. So please someone provide some help for this.
