COD: Black Ops Prestige Mode not Working

I have installed the Call Of Duty: Black Ops on my Windows 7 machine and there was no problem with running this game on this machine. I reached up to the level 50 and then I went to the prestige mode and accepted it. It was working but suddenly I noticed that there was no create a class options. I just quit the game and when I came back I was still on the level 50 but I was not having all of guns and it was like I am back on level 1. And going on the prestige mode doesn't do anything. What kind of mode is this?

yeah man!!! What prestige mode is this, It took me to the first level and I guess I have no prestige after playing such a beautiful game. Guys, Is there anybody who can tell me that how can I get my all the weapons back. No matter what happens to this prestige mode. I just care about my game. This level 1 kind of stuff have made me loosing all my interest to play this game.

I have searched about the prestige mode of the Call Of Duty: Black Ops and have found that after completing some levels on this game you are offered to enter into the prestige mode which shows one icon in front of your name which indicates that you have completed some levels on this game. Actually this mode has been made for those people who have achieved something on the multiplayer game. And it is default that after getting this mode, Your game starts from the level one. You have to complete some more levels to enter into the next mode and game goes on like that.

It related to the player and multiplayer modes, or to the so-called "prestige mode". As the name suggests, it is for this reason, successful players to increase the fame and reputation even further. The question that answers the developers wanted to know: what the players want playing time for this particular mode. Playable prestige mode offers gamers, along with new character classes and unique weapons, which can also be easily used. I think the game COD: Black Ops is just up to the level which you have completed and then prestige mode comes which you can also say that it is like a Medal which by which you have been honored. This will show that medal's icon in front of your name when you play the game and it indicates that you have completed some levels on this game. And this does not means that you have to start the game again and on completing the same number of levels, You will gets next medal. You would be having all new weapons as well as enemies after achieving each prestige mode. So get prepared to play bit more harder now.

Prestige mode is wide open after you complete the Level 55. However on the leaderboards, 10th rank prestige players are there with a level of 56 which means that the score, wins, etc., won’t be available except game shark is used for the Wii. Level 56 is a cheat level which is only shown on the leaderboards, whereas the real rank and level will be available on the game play.
Pros : After winning the Prestige Mode, players release some new icons in front of their names. Advanced levels of Prestige generally indicates that the player has good game skills. Players will generally get improved each time they get one Prestige, it does not confirms that player with the higher prestige are the best one and can’t be beaten by the newbie.
Cons : Prestige Mode results into unlocking the new weapons and perks, and camouflages. There are no such Xbox Live achievements or PSN trophies regarding the online playing.
