How to play multiplayer in Call Of Duty Black Ops

I am the fan of the Call Of Duty and got the new Black ops of the same and started playing. I am having no issue with the Single player mode which i can play easily. But when it comes to the Multiplayer Mode i have no idea about the same. Can any one help me with the multiplayer mode. I wanted to know How to play multiplayer in Call Of Duty Black Ops. If any one is having idea about the same then please help me with the same. A help me be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
