i was bored and wanted to play gta san andreas but it wont open it says cannot open 800x600x32 videomode why? i have windows 7 ultimate 64bit and everyone says it should work.i wanna play it without reinstalling my windows

Have you tried to change the settings of Game? Also try to keep your screen resolution to maximum. Even after that if problem is still coming, then check whether you are meeting minimum requirements that are needed for the GTA San Andreas.

my pc can play the newest games on maximum settings without any problems,sometimes i mod the game to have more better graphics and its still no problem that means i have a damn good pc.

normal computer, its not a laptop or notebook or mac etc its just a normal computer with high performance

heres some information:windows 7 ultimate x86
nvidia geforce gtx 260 with the newest driver
intel core i5 cpu
6gb ram

do i have forgotten something because i never looked for this.im using my tv as monitor,its a big tv but in other games with that resolution i could play it because it just changed to my resolution but gta san andreas is a little older.stephanie said i have to change the settings,there are two ways 1.if i could get into the game i change the resolution ingame 2.the set file.i would have change the settings in the set file but i dont know how to open it.
