Dead Rising 2 unlockables

I have purchased the Dead Rising 2 game for my PC and playing it have got one new on official forum of the game that the Dead Rising 2 is unlockable. In the first part of the game, you can unlock some of then stuff by gaining some achievement but this game does not as er the news. I just need to know whether this is true or just a myth. Thank you.

Yes you are partially right about the unlocking of the game. Actually the Dead Rising 2 is not having the that much stuff to unlock as the Dead rising first part is having. But you can get the unlock of then stuff in the multiplayer game by achieving some of the stuff. So if you can then go with the same and see whether you are getting the stuff unlocking or not

It is not true about the unlocking of the game with the some certain achievement. Like if you wanted to get the Zombie Slaughter then you have to Kill 500 zombies. And if you need to get the Z-Genocider 2 then you have to Kill 53,596 zombies. I can tell you the same as i have gone through the game and completed it by achieving and unlocking lots of stuff.

• Mall patrol (unlocked) - save 50 survivors
• Knight Helmet (unlocked) - beat Jack in ante up mission
• Hockey mask (unlocked) - use all melee weapons on zombies
• Tattered clothes (unlocked via 1000 hand to hand kills)
• Orange prison outfit (kill 10 Psychos)
• Knight Armour - Beat the game (S ending).
• TIR Helmet - earn $1 million in TIR online
• TIR Outfit - earn $5 million in TIR online
• Champions Jacket (come first in a TIR event)
