Fifa 11 game key not accepting

I have a Fifa 11 game application and the problem that I am facing is with the key that I have. When I enter the key it says that key is not valid. I am not able to execute the game then. I do not know what could have caused the issue. Please help me out so that I can make the desired change to be implemented and work well which is needed or required. I use Windows 7.
