I don't think that compatibility is an issue. Even if you download the save game from Windows XP and start playing that same on Windows 7, it should work. Check that you have inserted the save game folder properly.

It should be in the games folder itself. Anyways, here is it is:

"C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Local Settings\Application Data\SKIDROW\SAVES\35130\autosave.lcgolsave

If you are playing the steam version of the Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light game then the save game location in windows 7 would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[numbers]\35130". Other than that try going into your my document folder and checking the appdata folder which might be hidden in your computer.

I HAVE A VERSION OF SKIDROW...
whit steam savegamme works...
but with the version of skidrow i change the file but it goes to my old file...

in windows 7 "c:\users\your name\AppDAata\local\Skidrow\saves".it might be the same on windows Vista but i'm not sure
