Introduction
The fourth installment of the Gothic series has been rather quiet for the moment. A new beginning: new developments in Gothic 4:
Although we try to find a new beginning for the franchise, the story of Arcania: Gothic 4 is compared with the previous title in the series. Arcania: Gothic 4 will start almost twelve years after the events of Gothic 3. In the previous game, we came to become the king of all the region following clashes with dozens of orcs, witches and supernatural elements. As you can see, our previous character was not given very well to govern, and corrupted by power, and after a dictatorial reign and sickly, our new hero (who embodies in the game), decide to cut their losses and ending with that ruling. Each island, in turn, is divided into a number of territories, as usual, will unravel as we move forward in the title. As usual, to open missions and advance the story, we talk to the hundreds of NPC characters (which remember, are characters and people that can not be controlled by the player) all over the mapping. With them, we get items, new missions and uncover clues about the main story.
Given that accessibility has been the main engine of change in this Arcania: Gothic 4 is playable have also introduced changes to adapt it to the consoles.
