Issue with Internet connection while playing NFS World

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows XP. I have NFS World game application installed to the system. The problem is that when I play the game it looses internet connection or the game looses connection from server. I do not know what could have been the issue. Please do help me out so that I can make the game to be worked well and process as needed.
