"There has been an error downloading the game..." Need For Speed World

I am having problem downloading the Need For Speed World data files. Whenever downloading the game's data file on 20 percent it starts giving me the error. It is showing me "There has been an error downloading the game,please make sure that your connection is working and retry." I am having the good internet connectivity. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

If you are having the problem then i will advise you to reinstall the game into your system. First you need to uninstall the complete Need For Speed World so after that you should have to install the same game again. But make sure that during the uninstallation of the game delete the content from the computer.

It seems to have the issue of the of networking which is not having the functionality with the same. So to work with the issue you should have to check the port of your computer.

UDP Outgoing: 31928, 5222, 5223

It might be possible that the Firewall is blocking the connection and stopping the server to download the files from Server. So it is better to check the Firewall and disable it for some time so that it will allow you the download for the data files from the Server. So try this out and see whether it is working or not.

So if you can then please go through the EA and then you can get the solution of the problem. Also let me know about the solution which you got from there.

I am having one solution for you which might resolve your issue with the same so if you can then follow the below given step to perform the same.

1. Run as administrator
2. Shut down virusscan
3. Update the same

So try this out and see whether it is working for you or not
