RunTime error For Settlers 7

I have started playing the settlers 7 game recently and got an error message which states that RunTime error For Settlers 7. I get a runtime error when i was trying to play certain mission it simply displays an error message which states that "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!". After this the game shuts down. please help.

Most probably the problem is due to the windows 7 operating system it appears as the settlers 7 game is not compatible with the windows 7. So i would suggest you to boot your system dually with windows XP and windows 7 and then try to play the game again the problem should definitely disappear as of now.
