Leliana's Song DLC installation issue in Dragon Age Origins

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7. I have installed Dragon Age origins game application to the system. I do not know what could have been the issue but I am not able to install the Leliana's Song DLC to the system. I really do not know what could have been the problem. Please do help me out so that I can sort the issue. Please help.
