Split/Second Velocity setup error

once i click Setup i get an error saying:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher
I have Vista 32-bit and i cant change the compatible for some reason...
is there a way to get around this? Plz let me know

Another way through which you can make the game application to perform well is by right clicking on the game application and then install it under compatible mode for Windows Xp. This may then help you to get the game to be executed. So do check out and process as needed.

Its definitely the compatibility issue, first i was also facing similar issue on my Windows 7 PC, but after i changed it to Windows Xp compatibility mode, its now working fine. Here is how some guys helped me to fix the problem : Split/Second Velocity Crash to desktop
