How to Play non-original PS2 games

I have bought a PS2 for my kids from Germany....but the games i have are not running on this console...i bought these games from Pakistan so they are not original games......Could someone tell me how to play these games on PS2 without modchip.

Is the there a security code in PS2 against pirated DVDs...if so how to crack it.....If not then why these games are not running.

I think that the game cd/dvd that you bought are pirated ones and as teh chip inside the playstation 2 is original therefore it wont recognize the games. In this case you will have to crack or mod the chip so that it can recognize the game cds or dvds. However I will not recommend you to do so, because if you do then you wont be able to play original cd or dvd on your ps2 anymore, you will have to rely on the pirated version only.

Thanks a lot buddy for a great advice...could u please tell me how to crack the PS-2 CHIP ..while i wont go for modchip option. As far as the qustion goes that it will only play pirated games after crack...i have no problems with it..while original DVDs are too expensive and i can easily get the pirated games....just let me know also that cracking this chip will terminate the warranty or not.....Thanks once again...awaiting ur response
