Exclamation Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight problem

I installed Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. The game installed normally, but I am not able to run it.

It displays an error which asks me to check -

1.the direct X version on my pc = I have DX9 installed which is the recommended version
2.if my GPU meets requirements = I have ZOTAC GTX 260 896 MB which is more than required
3.if hardware acceleration is not disabled = I checked thru 'dxdiag' and 'nvidia control manager' that hardware acceleration is not disabled on my pc

    I am using Win XP SP2 with a resolution of 1024 x 768.
I do not have internet connectivity on my pc.

My config is as follows -
    2 x 1GB @ 800 MHz Kingston RAM
    Cooler Master 460W PSU
    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L
    C2D E7400 2.8 Ghz
    ZOTAC GTX 260

Can any one please help me to solve this problem?

It might be that there is some issue with the installed Dirext X component. SO you may try to re-install it again. After installing this restart your computer before playing the game. Now un-install the game Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. Once this is done then re-install the game. Hopefully this should work.
You may have a look at its System Requirements below:
    • Operating System: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1, or Windows 7
    • Processor: Intel Core 2 or better, AMD 64 X2 or better
    • Graphics: 256 MB (SM 3.0) - Nvidia GeForce 6800 or better, ATI Radeon X1600 or better
    • Memory: 1 GB (1.5 GB Vista and Windows 7)
    • Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
    • DirectX: DirectX 9.0c
    • Hard Drive: At least 10 GB of free space

As red devil has suggested you to check out with the best system configuration for your computer and also with respect to the game. If you install a game, you need to make sure that your computer is capable of running this high definition games which require all the updates graphics drivers to have error free game.

It is necessary that your system must have newest driver updates in your pc with the latest Direct X support. I have found a similar issue in Mass Effect 2 game. Here I was getting a issue of new DLC Kasumi The Stolen memory. I had set the Hardware Acceleration to none and now the game works fine. Try that. Set the Hardware Acceleration to none and check back.
