assassins creed II Monteriggioni / Villa problem

I was playing this level and my computer froze. I rebooted and my save game was lost. It wanted to start a new game but instead, I downloaded the save game off this site and was able to start the training mission with Mario which wasn't far from where I left off - a little after. I get in the arena and try dodge moves but the counter keeps on counting and I cannot die or get out. Anyone experienced this?

I think that you just need to complete all the exercise 3 times each time before moving onto the next exercise and in the end you will have to fight Mario in duel. After completing all this task only then you can forward to next missions. Btw have you bought the genuine copy of the game or using an offline emulator, because if you are using it so you will need to update your values.db file. You can get it from here - values.db files to play all missions in Assassins Creed 2 without white screen

Actually, I figured out what it was. It was the buttons on the mouse I had reversed. I was holding a left click instead of the right. When I revered them, it counted to three and went to the next test. the other way around, it would count indefinetely. Maybe a bug?

i simply buy gamepad to do missions,Its easy to do missions in all games!!
