PS3 controller with Halo 2 PC

I am looking for a good ps3 controller for my pc. I am playing Halo 3 here. I had installed this recently but I am not able to play it properly. As I am not able to find the keyboard mouse enough comfortable to use. I had played this game with my friend on console. Where I got a habit of using the ps3 gamepad. I want one but I am unable to locate anything on the web. There are some regular usb controllers also. I want to know that whether they will work or not.

Whatever you go for, you have to buy the official gamepad if you want stable and long lasting output. There are ample of them on the web you can buy. PS3 controllers are available but they are costly compared to the regular usb gamepads. In PS3 controller you get vibration mode and software through which you can modify the game settings and you can manage your work. I am quiet sure that will be helpful.
