Playing COD4 with PS3 controller

I am having the desktop computer with the Call of Duty 4 (COD4) installed in it. But the problem is that i dont like playing games using the keyboard and mouse. I want to know that can i play Call of Duty 4 with with PS3 controller on my desktop computer. I am not able to configure the PS3 controller with my system. So provide me the solution of this issue as soon as possible.

You can use the PS3 Controller for playing games on your desktop easily provided that you should install the driver software for the PS3 controller in your desktop computer system. After that you can easily play the COD4 game on the computer using the PS3 controller. I am also using the PS3 controller for playing the game on my desktop computer. It it is working awesome.

For using the PS3 controller with your desktop for playing the COD4 and other computer games install the PS3 controller driver properly in your system. Following is the method for doing that.

• Download the SIXAXIS driver package and install the filter driver (libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe).
• Extract the ps3sixaxis_en.exe
• Plug the SIXAXIS into your PC.
• Run ps3sixaxis_en.exe once.
• Push the PS button on the SIXAXIS once if it does not detected in firts attempt.

I think you can also look for the XBOX 360 controller for playing games on your desktop including the COD4. I am suggesting you this because according to me the XBOX 360 controller works better than the PS3 controller in gaming with the desktop. So if you already have the PS3 controller then use it otherwise you should go for the XBOX 360 controller.
