Greed: Black Border gaming issues

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have install a game application that is Greed: Black Border to the system. The problem is that the game application is not able to execute well as the game lags and then closes down after sometime. Please do help me out so that I can make the game to be playable without any issue. Thank you.
