Just Cause 2 PC Demo Fatal DirectX error

Hi manans,

I assume that you are using or trying to play Just Cause 2 PC game on an onboard graphics card, that is why you are getting this error. Actually, you need to buy an high end graphics card to play this game. Or you can also test your system and check whether or not your computer system supports this game at systemrequirementslab.com. In any case can you tell us what is your full computer specifications?

Ok, I am have am having the same error as the first guy. I have checked my computer supports DirectX 10 and it is installed.
(I am trying the demo, because if the demo doesn't work why buy the game)

I have a on-board graphics card, because I am using a laptop. I am on a Dell Vostro 3500. my processor and ram all meet requirements.
The on-board card is Intel HD graphics card.

BTW I can run games like Half-Life 2 or Portal on highest with only lagging a little when things explode or there is tons of npcs. I do know that JC2 is newer and needs more, I was just trying to see what this error means.

And how do you start in failsafe? I don't think that's even part of the game.

To resolve the issue i will advise you to check for the other applications are using the direcX. If other application are using the same then you have to go with the disabling other application which are using the DirectX and then disable the same. So try this out and see whether this is working for you or not.

THE REASON WHY YOUR COPY OF JUST CAUSE ISN'T WORKING IS BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR GRAPHICS ON HIGH PERFORMANCE!
IF YOU HAVE IT ON YOUR LAPTOP, CHANGE IT FROM POWER-SAVING TO HIGH PERFORMANCE!
IF YOU HAVE A DESKTOP, TURN IT UP TO THE HIGHEST GRAPHIC QUALITY!

Ok son, slow down. Do you have a PC or a laptop?
If you haave a laptop, You have probably Radeon or NVIDIA or some shit On-Board graphics. You can use switchable graphics from Power-saving to High Performance. USE HIGH PERFORMANCE!

If you haave a PC, Just fiddle around in the control panel with graphics and such.

REMEMBER! IF IT DOESN'T WORK, ITS YOUR COMPUTER! NOT THE GAME!

I would first recommend you to reinstall the Directx version in your Windows version. After that you can try to disable everything that has Directx 11 overlays (Steam Community, Xfire Ingame, Logitech G13/15 drivers, if any of this you have) or does 3D driver injection (IZ3D drivers, if you have those). Other than that can you tell us what is your computer specifications? What video card is installed in your dell inspiron.

i'm looking for a good motherboard so i can go on for a long time.
but i see so muts motherboard. my question is what are the most important propetie's of a motherboard i know a feew things: cpu connection, plugs for pci,
but i see somtime's intel or amd what are the differences?
i hope you have some info to share
