I suppose that the Intel HD Graphics is an onboard graphic on your motherboard that cannot support the game just cause 2. You will have to upgrade your graphic card and by the way which operating system are you using. Check the system requirements of Just Cause 2 game below:

I bought just cause 2 for my pc but it wont run and keeps giving me an error:

Fatal DirectX error!
code:2
result:0x0: S_OK

The game will now exit. Try starting the game with /failsafe if the problem persist.

Do i have to buy another graphics card?

Could you please tell us about your full computer specifications? Do you have any external graphic card installed in your machine or are you using onboard graphics? Which Operating System have you installed in your pc? Have you tried updating your graphic driver to the latest. Let us know the required information to help you sort out your problem.

I also have this problem, supposedly I have directx 11, I'll post my info, actually the size changed my mind, I'll attach a file... idk what's wrong in there and I don't know where to look...

Hi deathwishfollower,

You are getting this error because you have an Integrated Video card. Even if you had installed the latest version of the DirectX version, the display chipset that you have is not supported by the game. How does that card handle other games, are you able to play high end games like Crysis or Prince of Persia? Even if you are able to run the game on your computer, you will get a very bad low framerate, which will make the game unplayable.

The problem that you are getting is due to the graphic card that you own I think. This game requires directx 10 compatible card. So you will have to upgrade your graphics card. If you have directx 10 graphic card then update latest driver from microsoft. Could you also please tell us which Operating System you are using and also what is your full computer specifications?

It might ask you for digital certificates in which case you just deny it access to the internet. You will then get the program that will tell you every thing you need to know. Copy paste the specs of your computer and then we will come to know whether Just Cause 2 game is compatible with your system or not.
