I had installed metro 2033 recently in my computer. The game worked well for an hour but after that the game started lagging. I am not able to get the issue behind this. My system specie is 2GB ram, nvidia gpu, Intel core 2 duo processor and windows 7. I have all updated drivers but when I fire from a weapon then the game lags.

You can update your card to a better one, or just reduce the graphics levels you are using for this game and the lag should disappear. I think your gpu might be a weaker and you are aware that metro 2033 is a high end graphic game.
