GTR Evolution gaming problems while playing

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have installed game application that is GTR Evolution to the system. I have no idea what could be the problem. The game application lags a lots while playing. Please do help me out in order to make the application to function well when been executed. Thank you.
