Command & Conquer 4 Unexpectedly Disconnected From Online Services

Hello, please someone help me. When I was trying to login to the Command and Conquer 4 beta, it gave me message that "Unexpectedly disconnected from online services. Please check your internet connection". I am not able to understand the exact problem. If you are having any solution from which I will able to get the solution then please help me to solve this error.

Hello, If you are getting such kind of error then it must be the problem of you internet connection. I would suggest you to simply check your internet connection and you will able to solve your problem. So, you need to do that first and then you can try to check other problem. But as you are getting the direct message which tells you to check the internet connection then I think it is the problem of your Internet Connection.

Hey, I am also getting the same error. When I start to play the game by making login into it, by providing the email and password which is registered and I am getting the a window which contains the message as below:

Unexpectedly disconnected from online services. Please check your internet connection.

I am not having any type of problem with my Internet connection. So, if you are having any type of solution for this then please help me to solve that problem.

Hello, I am not getting any type of error message while playing Command & Conquer 4 on my computer. It may be possible that you are getting this error message due to the problem of your Firewall. It may possible that your firewall is blocking the program and that is why you are not able to play the game. So, for just checking the exact problem just stop your firewall and then simply make login and then try to play the game. You will able to get the solution.

Since I can't seem to login to EA C&C 4 forum to post I will do it here in hopes that others will see it. I have been getting the "Unexpectedly disconnected from online services" from the get go. What I found was a firewall issue on my DSL ROUTER/MODEM, Westel something or another:

1) When it was set to off or low I could login with no issues but medium or higher kicked out with the error above.
2) I checked the security logs and found the items were being blocked on ports 1401-1500'ish...
3) opened ports 1400-1650 and have since had no disconnection issues since.

I also forwarded all the ports from the manual/readme file in the DATA folder of the install directory but have found that these ones (1400-1650) are the ones that fixed the problem for me.

I am running a XP machine, celeron 3.3ghz SINGLE CORE, XP SP2, 1.5gb RAM and Nvidia 9300 gs... Old machine but low video i find it runs find as of right now!!!

Screw EA for this DRM, what a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!

I am also experiencing the same problem.

I do not think it is an internet connection or a firewall problem because I remain connected to the internet while playing, and the game is allowed access through the firewall privately and publically according to windows firewall.

Please let me know if you have a solution!

Not windows firewall but your router's and/or your modem's hard firewall. Log in to your router/modem and disable the firewall and see if you can connect. It isn't truly and "internet" issue, its a port problem.
