DAWN OF WAR 2 Keeps Asking STEAM AUTHENTICATION

Hello, I am having Windows xp operating system on my computer and while making use of it, I am trying to use the DAWN OF WAR 2 on my computer. But, it is showing me error message as STEAM AUTHENTICATION. I am not getting the problem, why it is showing me such error. If you are having any solution on this then please provide that to me.

Hello, I am also getting the same problem. And if I check the log file then it provide me some of the big error report. And in that error report the line of error contains the Steam Authentication. If anyone is having details from which I can solve my problem then please help me to solve my problem also. I have tried to find solution on this, but, I am not able to get the solution .

Hello, you must need to check your system requirements which are as below required for the Dawn Of War 2:

Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1
P4 3.2 GHz (single core) or any Dual Core processor
1 GB RAM (XP), 1.5 GB RAM (Vista)
A 128MB Video Card
5.5 GB of Hard Drive space

Hi, follow the steps below and get your problem solved:

You need to remove the authkey file from the folder having name as Defcon.
If you are having any firewall installed disable it.
You need to launch the Steam.exe as an administrator.
Now simply open the Defcon from Steam.

Hello, I am having system configuration as below and not getting any problem while playing the Dawn Of War 2 on my computer. I would suggest you to simply use the below configuration and solve your problem:
