Unable to play DoW2

Recently i have purchased this game and installed it on my computer. But the problem is that whenever i try to start this game which is called DoW2, a message pops up saying that it is "preparing to launch". After some time it gives me the error message about all my system configuration. I have tried to solve this game error by reinstalling it and also for windows live. Nothing worked for me. I have the system configuration as Intel Q9300 quad, ATI 4870, 4 GB DDR3, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 edition. Please help me to solve this problem..

I don't know why you are getting this kind of error on your computer when you try to play this game. I also have this game on my computer but never i found this kind of problem. Evrything works well with this game on my computer. I have seen that the game loads very fast as compared to the usual loding with my computer.
Here is my system configuration

1. Intel Core 2 Duo at 1.86 GHz ( E6320)
2. RAM 3GB with DDR2
3. Nvidia 240gt 1 GB DDR3
4. Windows XP SP3

I think you need to Re-install this game one more time. But the important thing when you un-install this game then you need to remove all the related system files from the computer. It can be done by searching all the files related to the game and also search for hidden files too. Then you can go to the registry editor and from there you can remove all the registry files related to it. After that restart your computer and then freshly install the game, i think the problem must be ended.

In order to solve this problem you need to reduce the graphics setting of this game to Low or Medium, after that try to play the game. If this method fixes the problem of your game then try updating DoW 2 with the latest version, and also your video card drivers which plays an important role in playing a particular game, After that you can try the higher graphics settings again for the same game to solve your problem of crashing.
