    Dragon Age Origins DLC : "Install Failed"

    Hello, recently I have tried to install the Dragon Age Origins on my DLC and setup gone upto 90% and then it simply stop with the error of the "Install Failed". I am not able to get the solution for this problem. If you are having any solution then I will be thankful to you. Please help me with some solution.

    Hello, if you want to install the Dragon Age Origins on DLC then you need to perform some of the task which will simply help you. If you are a ATI user and using the Catalyst 9.9 drivers then you need to simply change the video card driver to the Catalyst 9.7. As I have heard that there are some of the problems in the ATI Catalyst 9.9 from running the Dragon Age Origins. And it may possible that it can be fixed in the next update of the Catalyst.

    Hello, you need to follow the steps below for getting the solution:
    • First you need to move to the path of DA \bin_ship folder and execute the daupdater.exe as admin.
    • Now you need to select the DAZips button.
    • Now go to the path of the C:\ProgramData\BioWare\Dragon Age\DAUpdater\Data folder.
    • Just simply select all and then click on ok.
    • Then you need to select them again and click on "Install selected"
    • Done.

    Hello, it may possible that you are having the setup file problem. If you want to solve your problem then you can simply try to reinstall all of the setup and then try to checkout whether your problem is solved or not. It may possible that after reinstallation you will able to get solution for your problem. But, before reinstallation you need to remove all of the files from your computer which are available from the previous installation.

    Hello, follow the steps below:
    • Hello, first thing you need to achive is to Clear the Download Cache.
    • Then with the help of the game launcher you need to click on the Configure.
    • When it started you need to click on the Repair and then you can simply click on the Clear Download Cache.
    • Then you need to go to the path of the My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings and then you must need to delete Manifest.xml and Addins.xml.
    • If you are having physical location to the other that c drive then you need to move that to the default location.
    • You also need to set the Windows Region and Language settings to English.
