Video latency drops while playing games

Hello everyone, I have recently installed The Tomorrow War game on my computer which is running on Windows 7 operating system and I am facing some problems while playing the game. Whenever I start the game, it runs well for about 5 minutes then the game starts lagging. The Video latency drops while playing the games. The following is the configuration of the computer :-
    1. Intel Dual core processor 3.2ghz
    2. Nvidia 8600GT graphic card.
    3. Kingston 1gb RAM
Is the configuration good for playing such games? Please suggest some solutions for the problem.

Windows 7 does not support all the game which are supported by Windows XP operating system. If the operating system does not supports the game then the game will either not run at all or will give some problems while gaming. The list of the games which are supported by Windows 7 is available on the Microsoft official website. Check the list and the see if the game is supported by the Windows 7 operating system or not. If the game is not supported by the operating system then there is nothing much you can do about it.

Dual core processors are not meant for running gaming applications. Dual core processors have two processors which are out of sync. Therefore when any application is started on the computer, both the processors start processing the application together which can create lagging problems while running gaming application. Hence you will have to disable one of the processor while playing the game and then see if the game is lagging or not. Start the game and then open the Task manager. Go to processes tab and right click on the process of the game. Select set affinity and then remove check mark from one of the CPU. Click on OK and then resume the game.

There must be some processes running in the background because of which the game is facing lagging issue. Gaming applications require lot of memory and CPU usage. If there are many processes running on the computer along with the game then the game is bound to lag as the CPU will take some time to process its request. Therefore before starting the game, open the task manager and check all the processes which are running in background. Disable all the unwanted processes which are taking up lot of CPU and memory space. Also disable scheduled tasks of all the applications if there are any and then check if the game lags while playing.

Nvidia graphic cards are preconfigured to run high end graphics editing applications. These settings can create problems while running some games. If the settings of the graphic card conflict with the graphics setting of the game then the game will lag. Therefore you will have to configure the graphic card again in order to play the game. Open the graphic properties and then click on Manage 3D settings. Select Triple buffering and enable Force off. Select Anistropic filtering and enable Force off. Select Vertical sync and enable Force off. Save and apply the settings. Now start the game and check if the game is running smoothly or not.

I think your computer is facing Heating issues. While processing high end graphics application the GPU and the CPU of the computer have to process lot of things because of which the GPU and the CPU of the computer will get heated up. If the GPU or the CPU gets heated up then the performance of the computer degrades. Hence I would suggest you to check the temperature of the CPU and GPU before starting the game and after the game starts lagging. Check if the Cabinet of the computer is properly ventilated and all the cooling fans are working properly or not. Replace the cooling fan of the computer if it is not working properly.
