Re: MW2 NAT Strict

I have noticed this issue for most of the user who are trying to play MW2 online and getting the same problem. There are lots of the solution available to work with this but let me tell you that they are not safe. I have heard the solution like DMZ which acronym as "DeMilitarized Zone" which is not protected by the router so don't try this. As this is not safe. Just make sure that you have set up everything properly. Forward the port properly and then

Re: MW2 NAT Strict

I am having the same problem and i have tried lots of the tricks and solution i got from the Web but nothing work for me. But i got something that make me enable to play the MW2 online so i am giving you the same.
  • Enable the NAT first
  • Now disable the DHCP, DMZ and UPnP in router
  • Set Static IP fro computer
  • Forward the port through router
Thats all i have done to make my MW2 work with me. If this still not working for you then let me know about it.

Re: MW2 NAT Strict

If the above one is not working for you then you i think that the iw4mp.iw4sp.exe's is not allowed in your firewall. If the firewall is not allowing the iw4mp.iw4sp.exe's then also you can get this kind of problem in playing the game online so first make the firewall to permit the above given exe file and then try again for playing this game

Re: MW2 NAT Strict

If all the above is not working for you then it might be possible that your anti-virus is not allowing the MW2 for the NAT that is why you are getting this kind of problem. Disable the anti virus or get into the Firewall of the Anti-virus and the remove the same for the MW2 and restart the computer and play the game. I hope that this will work for you. Say thanks if it work.
