Section 8 lagging and has no sound on Windows 7

I have installed Section 8 on my new operating system- Windows 7 64 bit home edition. But for some unknown reasons the Section 8 is lagging on Windows 7. And the issues does not ends here. The game also does not has any sound on Windows 7. Also I am unable to play the game on Windows Live due to Section 8. I have no idea why this is happening. Are there any compatibility issues with of Section 8 with Windows 7?

Reinstall the drivers for Graphic card

From your description of the issue of Section- VIII it seems to be that the game is lagging because of the graphical support not up to the required mark. This can be because the graphic card drivers are not updated. I recommend you to reinstall the graphic card by removing it from the motherboard socket and plugging it back in. Also reinstall the drivers for your graphic card.
