Dragon Age origin crashes frequently

I have installed the dragon age game on my system recently which also runs smoothly for some time and after about few minutes it starts crashing and then i had to end the game using the task manager and then restart it again. I don't know why this is happening please help me to solve this problem. thanks in advance

I think that your does not fulfill the minimum system requirements specified by the dragon age game. I would recommend you to check whether your game is satisfying the minimum system requirements or not. I would have mentioned the system require ment it you have mentioned which dragon age verison have you installed.

Thanks for the reply i have the latest version of the dragon age origin. I think if the systems minimum requirement have not been met then the game would not have been install on my system. I think that my system is fully compatible with the game . I have windows 7 installed on my system waiting for your reply.

Sometimes even if your system does not meet the minimum configuration requirements the game gets installed the system requirements goe here

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz Processor or equivalent
RAM: 2 GB if you are using XP and 3 GB for window vista/7
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)

My system meets the minimum system requirements. It is far more better than what it requires it has 4 GB ram with windows vista and the Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz which i think is sufficient enough to play this game without any error. I think it require a differen solution. Any other ideas please help.

I think that if you are an ATI user espacially if you use catalyst 9.9 drivers and all. I think you need to downgrade the video card driver to catakyst 9.7 . Since there are some kinda issue if you are running the ATI Catalyst 9.9 with the Dragon Age. After you upgrade the catalyst this problem should be fixed.
