compatibility of Halo 2 with windows 7

I have upgraded my system to windows 7 from windows Vista recently. I am not very much sure that will my operating system that is windows 7 OS compatible with the Halo 2 game which i use to play while i was using the windows Vista. Please tell me whether i can install it on windows 7 operating system or i have to do some adjustments.

I have not used this operating system yet but i think that the game is compatible with your operating system. Because both the operating system viz. windows 7 as well as windows Vista are built by the same manufacturer Microsoft since a lot of games which we can play with windows XP is also compatible with the Windows Vista.

Hello!!! i have also installed the same game on to my system. But now i want to upgrade my system to windows 7. Hence i would also like to know whether it is Halo 2 can be installed and played on windows 7 too without loosing any of its feature or without adjusting settings please answer this thread as soon as possible.

As far as Halo 2 game is concerned i think that this game is not compatible with windows 7. I can tell you this because when i upgraded my system with the windows 7 operating system my halo 2 game crashed suddenly after the installation. Then i tried a lot of stuffs and procedure but could not get start the game.

According to me any game would crash if and only if the minimum system requirements are not satisfied. If you try to get the minimum system requirement of the HALO 2 game you can play it over the windows Vista operating system and it clearly indicates that it should work with windows 7. Since both of them are more or less same.

If you think that windows 7 operating system is just a vista upgrade does not means that all the programs which are compatible or which are runs on vista should run on windows 7 too then i think you are absolutely wrong. So try to run it in compatibility mode in windows 7 this should work for you though all the best.
