Silent Hunter III issue in Windows 7

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have installed Silent Hunter III in my system and the game is unable to even open up while executing. I have no idea what could have been gone wrong. Please help me out in order to make the things to work out. It would be a great help. Thank you.

There may an issue with the direct X files that you need to install. Remove the direct x files that is been installed and then reinstall it with the latest version or pack of the thing.
