Need minimum system requirements of Bioshock 2

Hello there, I have played Bioshock on my computer and I am really looking forward to play its sequel Bioshock2. Therefore I need the official release date and the minimum system requirements for Bioshock2 so that I can upgrade my rig if needed to play the game. So please if anybody knows about the release date and the system requirements please share the information. Also I would like to know on what grounds the game is based on and on what platforms it is being released. Does it support Multiplayer mode? Thanks in Advance.

Bioshock2 is a sequel of a critically acclaimed game Bioshock which was released in 2007. Bioshock2 is based on the similar story which starts from a decade after the Bioshock attack. The main character of the game which is user controlled (Big daddy) is searching for the little sister in the fictional city of dystopian. The main motto of Bigdaddy is to overthrow the alliance which will be responsible for the city's destruction.

Yes the game has multiplayer mode of which most of the gamers are excited about. The Multiplayer mode of Bioshock2 consist of 6 different modes out of which 2 are single player mode and 2 are team support mode. The different modes are :-
1) Survival of the fittest.--- Single player mode.
2) Last Splicer standing --- Single player mode.
3) ADAM Grab ---Single player mode.
4) Turf Wars ---Team support mode
5) Civil War ---- Team support mode
6) Capture the Sister --- Team support mode.

2. Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3800 + 2.4Ghz or Intel Pentium 4 530 3.0Ghz and higher

4. Graphics card and GPU: NVIDIA 7800GT 256MB, ATI Radeon X1900 256MB and higher
5. Hard Disk space required for installation: 11GB.

BIOSHOCK2 unlike BIOSHOCK is being released on all the gaming platforms such as Playstation 3, XBOX 360 and for Windows based computers. Although the system requirements for the games are high for PC, it still worth spending for. The game is going to be released for all the platforms on February 9 2010 and the game will cost around 49.99 euros. Hope the information helps.

The feel of the game would not be achieved if the game is made to run on the system whose configuration is same as the minimum configuration required by the game. To enjoy all the features and graphics of the game, the system should match the recommended configuration which is as follows.

b. System memory (RAM): 3Gb atleast.

the game will work on any Windows operating system which is higher than Windows XP.
