Flight Simulator is not working in Windows 7

Hello,

I installed today a simulation games (Microsoft Flight Simulator X) the game freezes during startup and reclaim DirectX 9, FSX is not compatible DirectX11, Is it possible to play DirectX 9 version with Windows 7 64bit or so yet it not possible in Windows 7 to switch to DirectX 9 which would be integrated?

Download FSX SP1 English

And also download Flight Simulator X SP2 English

After installing sp2, you'll be able to play it with directx 11 in windows 7.

What about your UAC settings? What level UAC you have set? In my Windows 7 i have set it to the lowest level, i'm not sure if its really have anything to do with it, but FSX and the expansion pack both installed and run perfectly fine on my machine as well. You try it out once.

Hi,

I just upgrade Vista Home ==> Windows 7 Home Ed.

I had a FSX + Acc and everything worked the first try, no problem with texture, I tested with full CDG traffic . It seems that the texture is better handled when the acceleration option DX10 in FSX, I have only a few models without texture.

Try the compatibility mode, first Right click the Flight Simulator X Deluxe executable -> click Properties -> select the 'Compatibility' tab -> under Compatibility mode -> check the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' box, click in the list box and select a suitable version of Windows Flight Simulator X Deluxe is known work properly in.
