Train Simulator crashes may be due to virus. If you have an antivirus program installed on your computer before you scan your computer before you start the game and update the latest virus signature files. Many Antivirus companies release a new signature file each month that you need to update. When you have the latest signature files, scan your computer. For help obtaining the antivirus signature files, contact your antivirus software manufacturer.

I think you should, adjust the hardware acceleration of graphics :

    1. Open Personalization, Go to Start, Type personalization in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
    2. Change the hardware acceleration of graphics, to do this follow the bellow steps :
    a. Go to Display Settings.
    b. Under Advanced Settings.
    c. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or click Allow.
    d. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider one notch to the left of Full to the e. Disable acceleration cursors and bitmaps.
    f. Click OK and Restart Now.

When the computer restarts, test the game.
