Even if you can stay connected to Xbox Live, a brief interruption in Internet connection can cause an Xbox LIVE content to stop. Retry the download.

    1. Connect the hard drive or memory unit for the Xbox 360.
    2. Turn on the Xbox 360.
    3. Log on to Xbox LIVE with the gamer profile that originally downloaded the content.
    4. Press the Xbox 360 Guide button, then go to the settings area. Select Account Management, then select the download history.
    5. Select the content item and then select Download to download the new theme.
    6. Repeat step 5 for each item in your download history you want to retrieve.

From your local network may have experienced a problem in transferring data. If you continue to experience problems in downloading content, it should simplify the network configuration to isolate any problems that a local router may be causing. If you are using a router on your local network, rather than the Xbox 360 console to connect directly to your Internet modem, and retry the download.

You need to check that the ISP may be blocking or limiting the discharge of large during peak usage times. Some ISPs block or limit large downloads during peak hours. If an adjustment "ISP" connection after a certain period of time or limit the size of downloads, you receive this error message. If the above methods do not solve the problem, retry the download at a time of greater affluence. You may also want to contact your ISP to determine if it restricts the download size, speed, or amount of downloaded content.

Verify that the correct network ports are open for the Xbox 360 that is trying to download the content. If you are unable to properly configure the ports, or if you still have problems completing downloads, attempts to connect to Xbox Live using a direct connection to the modem. Bypass network devices, such as a router or firewall.

If a firewall or a router between the Xbox console and the network hardware, and if the Xbox Live test reports a problem with NAT, you may need to make configuration changes to enable communication on specific network ports are required by Xbox LIVE. This reconfiguration is known as "port forwarding". If you use an Xbox Live compatible with Windows Vista device or a compatible device that has installed the correct firmware, should not have to make these changes.
