Lost planet 2 gaming issues with windows 7

Hi. I have an Acer aspire laptop and it is been upgraded with Windows 7 as the operating system. The problem is that the game freezes when been executed. it used to execute well under windows Xp but not with windows 7. Please help me out in this case so that I could get a solution for the same.
