PSP 3000 vs PSP Go

I know PSP Go has a completely new shape and no longer plays games but i want to know about PSP 3000. What it the difference between the PSP 3000 and the PSP GO. The depth and height of PSP Go are only negligibly smaller than the PSP-2000. Would it be cheaper to buy a 3000 series with a 16GB memory card or i go with PSP GO?

Unlike the previous PSP line the PSP Go has a completely new shape and no longer plays games from physical UMD media. Sony's recent PSP-3000 upgrade had one major feature change among its other small updates: the brighter, increased contrast and wider color gamut screen (above: old top, new bottom). The PSP Go is 43% lighter than the PSP 3000 and its smaller form factor make it much more portable.

The PSP 3000 has the same slim dimensions (2.81 inches high by 6.63 inches wide by 0.63 inch deep) and lighter weight as its predecessor.
