Favourite PC games for 2009

The year 2009 is on its way to an end. This year the world had to face the tragedy of Recession which even reflected on the video games sector. Also the prices of many computer, Xbox and Play station games were reduced to cope with recession. But then too there some really interesting games that were projected to the audiences. So what was your favourite game or games of the year 2009?

I did not the opportunity to purchase any of the games released earlier this year due to my final year exams. But I was always awaiting for the Assassin’s Creed second part to be released. And this was more than what I expected. Ubisoft has been the best in developing video games. The backdrop of Renaissance Italy on which the entire game reside is the best part.

I am a die hard fan of NFS and I have gamed in all the games produced for the NFS series right from NFS, NFS 2 till the NFS: Shift. I like to play games of car racing. And NFS has always provided that excitement for me. The NFS: Shift is my personal best game for 2009.

I have purchased four games this year. Borderlands , Infamous , Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Dragon Age: Origins. I have played all the four games apart from my all time favourite Counter Strike. Although none of the games for 2009 that I have purchased could beat my favourite CS, but then too I was impressed by Borderlands and Infamous. I would refer these two games as my choice for 2009 video games.

SIMS 3 is the best game I have ever played till now. So for me its SIMS 3 as the favourite game of 2009 as well as my most favourite game ever. The graphics for this game are really amazing. The story line is also well scripted according to the game. SIMS 3 is the best game in all the 3 games of SIMS series.

I donot have only one favourite for 2009 but 3. These are:

Forza Motorsport III.
Call of Duty IV.
Assassin’s Creed II.

If any one is browsing to find the games to be purchased then my suggestion is to go for Forza Motorsport III or Call of Duty IV or Assassin’s Creed II. I enjoyed all the 3 games equally and have just started gaming in Assassin’s Creed II which was my latest buy.
