The problem is that when I try to execute the the games by clicking on the icons it stops responding and disappears. What could be the issue? Please help me out to sort out the problem. Thank you.

The problem that your system or the process freezes when you click on the game icon is because the installation process might be linked to other local drive. This is actually the problem that you may face because the installation process might be installed on the local drive with other source and the icon might be saved on the desktop or you might have made a shortcut. This would not work. ry executing form the source drive.

Well if you are not able to rectify or make the thing proper with the solution that is been provided it is then based on the mean that you could recollect what kind of action or occurrence might have precipitated it. If the issue isn't much clear then try to execute the game using different user account. Try to login in to admin if not able to with normal account.

I will suggest you to follow certain steps it might work for you then.

    1. Scan the computer by a good antivirus software.
    2. Rebuild the cache ICON.

For building the cache these are the steps.

    * Start the computer in safe mode.
    * Open the task manager option.
    * Right click on the explorer.exe in process tab and select the End process.
    * Now select the new task form file menu.
    * Type cmd.exe and hit enter.
    * Now type the command in the promt

    CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local
    DEL IconCache.db /a

    * Now in task manager select new task and run.
    * After this Reboot the process.
