Call of duty world at war issue on Windows Vista

I had installed windows vista on my system. Now the problem is that when i try to play World at War game on my pc, the game loads up but when i try to create a profile it prompts me to create an online profile, so i do, and then the cycle repeats, it doesn't move and it says i'm not online. Why i'm facing such Call of duty world at war issue? Any idea about it? Please help me out to resolve the above issue. Thanks.

What's the error number you're getting? It's possibly that you might have the faulty internet connection. If its freezing online, its something to do with your network connection but if its while your not online, it is a faulty disc or disc reader.

If you are not an Xbox live player, there may have been a patch up that you missed. I have tried reinstalling the game. I even took it back to the store a few days ago and got a brand new copy. Installed, ran it, didnt work, installed patches, didn't work.

Don't use the registry cleaner function, as cleaning the registry can actually be more harmful than good. World at War is the World War II magazine for wargamers, featuring a complete game in every issue. I usually clear it every now and then, and the only problems it comes up with is stuff from uninstalled software.
