Dryad Isle in Sacred 2: Fallen Angel

I am enjoying playing Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. I have to admit it an awesome game. I have just started playing it since last week. I want to know is there anyway by which I can get to Dryad Isle directly without the main quest? Also I am thinking to upgrade my system because while playing the game it sometimes does gets hanged. I am now using an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz processor and 1 GB DDR2 Twinmos RAM. What is the reason my game is getting hanged? I want to know what is the recommended system configuration for this game so that I can make the necessay changes.

You are right might be your system needs to be upgraded. I was also having the same problem when I was using an AMD Athlon processor. For Windows XP / Vista / 7, it is recommended to use a Dual Core processor with 2.0 Ghz power. Add a Graphic Card of 512 mega-bytes, recommended NVdia GeForce 8800. The recommended RAM support is of 2 giga-bytes.

The Dryad Isle is the second last area. There is no alternate way through which you can directly get to the Dryad Isle in Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. You have to advance through the Main Quest. May be you need to be more fluent with your skill before reaching the Dryad Isle area. This is really an amazing game.

The Sacred 2: Fallen Angel minimum requirements does states a 2Ghz processor and also 1GB memory as specified in your configuration. So your computer does seems to meet the minimum system requirements. I also was having a similar issue with my ARMA II. I un-installed the game completely and then re-installed. This worked for me. Try the same, might be the game is not properly installed.
