Errors Installing Sims 2 On Vista

please help i have tried all i know,i have vista home basic and i cant install sims 2,it installed sims1 ,which i have now uninstalled ,the sims 2 works ok on other pc,s
and i have all the right graffics and 32 bit etc for it BUT the same 2 errors come up ,some thing like this......error executing F;\suport\the sims2_uninst.exe error performing inpage operation
the second error that comes up is.....
is not a valid the sims 2 code.exe %1 is not a valid win 32 application
i have updated drives and windows etc .i checked my system requirments for the game and i have what is needed,
i have 32 bit 2 gig .nvidia geforce 6150se nforce 430 and directx 10
i have tried all i can im not an expert i only no the basics..the cds installed onto my old ME and my friends XP and sims1 works fine on mine when installed
i also tried to run program as an administration and it comes up
this game is not supported under window NT

Buy a genuine copy of the game, the error occurs if the game is pirated and has virus. Virus issues are common among pirate games and softwares...

aw.realy i bought this game off trade me in new zealand has the orrigial cover,i think.
