Problems with NFS Undercover

I installed NFS and I have lag problem and graphics problems. Yesterday I had scanned for viruses but no effect, still the problem exists. There are zigzag lines across the screen. I tried to change the resolution but no use. Any advise will be highly appreciated.

2g ram!
2x 2.6 ghz processor (intel core2 duo )
Nvidia Geforce 7300 gs (256mb)
Windows xp!

It looks a pretty good configuration.
I think your graphics card is bit old, plz try upgrading your graphics card, its shouldn't be expensive. If you have a LCD, try to find it's resolution and set it to the games resolution for best results. If any problems do reply back...
