Rise of Nations gets minimized unexpectedly

I am a having Windows Vista computer at home. Mostly i use it for doing my work but my younger brother downloaded a Microsoft's game that is Rise of Nations yesterday. Now whenever he is trying to play the said game, it starts but after sometime the game gets minimized to the taskbar itself. I am unable to find the cause for this issue. Had you any one of you guys faced this problem ever ? Please help me to fix this issue ?

Most probably the cause of this issue might be the IPInSightMonitor program that runs in the background of your system. IP InSight is installed with Verizon DSL accounts and other DSL accounts. IP InSight is a quality of service monitor and diagnostic tool that can be used to troubleshoot DSL connection problems.

To resolve this issue you need to stop IPInSightMonitor program. To do so, just go through these steps:-

• Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
  
  
• Click the Startup tab, and then click to clear the check box for the IPMon32 startup item.
  
  
• Click OK.
  
  
• When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

If the problem still exist, i'll suggest you to perform a clean startup procedure of your Vista computer and try playing the game again. To perform the clean startup of vista:-

1. Click Start, type System Configuration in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
2. Click the General tab, and then click Selective Startup.
3. Click to clear the Load system services check box and the Load startup items check box.
4. Click to select the Load system services check box.
5. Click OK, and then click Restart.

Hey, thanks for the quick and valuable help, mates... I tried to play the game after terminating the IPInSightMonitor process and now game is not minimizing itself. I can play the game properly. It really worked for me. I appreciate your help. Keep it up !!
