Batman: Arkham Asylum is not playing at 1080i/1080p

My Batman: Arkham Asylum Game is Not Working , it is only displaying at 720p and not at 1080i or 1080p , Can you Tell me Why Does this Happen and How can i Solve this Problem Thanks in advance , I know this could be Due to the settings on the console ,But Please tell me I dont know how to Fiddle With the Settings , please Help me thanks in advance

If you have set this as as settings of your PS3 as your max resolution is 1080p, there's nothing else to do. Maybe your TV does not support this type of display.

You must disable 720p in the display settings of your console and leep 1080i 1080p only . Dong This manipulation would solve your problem with not only Batman: Arkham Asylum but also with a lot of other games (metal gear, gta, cod4 ...)

Please see the following to check which display settings your PS3 is set to use:

• At the Cross-Media Bar (XMB) go to Settings, choose Display Settings then Video Output Settings
  
• Choose the type of connector used to connect your PS3 to your TV (default setting should be highlighted)
  
• On the next page choose Custom
  
• You will now see a list of resolutions, it's likely all settings will be ticked. For best results, choose only the resolution you wish to use, i.e. 1080i or 1080p and untick all others.
  
• On the next page, press X to save the settings.
  
• Launching the game again after this should display the game in the resolution you have selected.
