Madden 2008 won't install

I have bought the Madden 08 for my PC, i'm facing really stragne issue i can't install it on my pc, the setup doesn't starts at all, only splash screen comes once and then nothing, but the game has installed on my friend's pc successfully then whats wrong with my pc. Please guys help me , how can i install it with success?

What error comes when you start the setup? Have you tried by starting the setup file manually by opening the installation CD and locate the setup file.

Does it offer a compatibility mode to install the software? temporarily disable all those unnecessary background programs running, use Windows Task manager for to end unnecessary background programs.
